Last year the Higgins Garden Centre was a great adventure. We started in a lockdown time as a way to motivate our team and stay in touch with our customers. It was a wonderful team effort that we launched four days after the idea first germinated. While it was gratifying to bring our customers a little ray of sunshine in a dark time, we found we weren’t able to supply with all you wanted.
To better serve you this year we have partnered with Scarlett Gardens, a small family-run garden centre on Scarlett Road, to bring you a wide variety of products and services.
Aldo Tomino and his daughters operate Scarlett Gardens, once known as Tumino’s Garden & Floral, family-run since 1967. They have always taken pride in bringing their products and services to their customers.
They might look small, but they carry a great variety of plants to keep your garden interesting. They buy from local growers and producers in the GTA- and they don’t sell anything they wouldn’t plant and grow themselves.
This year you will be able to purchase and have delivered:
- Soil
- Seeds
- Vegetables & Herbs
- Annuals & Perennials
- Trees and Shrubs
