Project Description
Do it yourself tent rental – Pop Up Tents
When you need shelter from the sun or light rain and you want the freedom to install the tent at the last minute, the best tent to rent is our Pop Up Tent. It is used for Festival Tents for Street Vendors, a Back Yard Party Tent, a Wedding Ceremony Tent, or a Covid Testing Tent. It is such a good tent to rent because you can set it up yourself quickly and easily. If you want a tent that is flexible enough to go from street to backyard to field to rooftop this is the one for you. It can be staked down or we rent rubber weights that can be used. If you are looking to rent a tent that you can set up yourself, at the last minute, that is economical, flexible, attractive then ask for a Pop-Up Tent.
What is a Pop Up Tent?
A pop-up tent is a do-it-yourself solution for light rain and shade. The structure is made with a heavy-duty aluminum frame and premium polyester top that is water, mildew and rot resistant and fire-resistant. Typically the Pop-Up tent is 10 feet by 10 feet. The Pop-Up Tent comes with the top attached to the frame. The Pop-Up tent’s legs are weighted with rubber weights. Sidewalls are attached with velcro straps.
Pop-up tents are often used for Art Fairs. When being used for an art fair fencing is used to hang artwork. You may have seen our tents in Nathan Philip’s Square for the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.
In the picture on the left, you can see the pop-up tent with the sidewalls and with fencing for art.
Where Can it Be installed?
Pop-Up Tents can be set up on concrete, asphalt, grass or even on a beach. The ground should be level, the spot somewhat sheltered from the wind. Pop-up tents can even be set up inside to be used as dressing rooms or individual interview rooms.
How do you install a Pop-Up Tent?
Setting up a Pop-up tent is easy. You can do it on your own but it is easiest with four people. Just follow these easy steps.
- Stand the Tent up on the legs.
- Have each friend take a leg of the tent. Walkout from the centre.
- Push up on the top black fixture on each leg until it clicks.
- Adjust the leg height to the preferred height (Pro Tip: Count out the number of holes you want showing). The legs will also click into place when they are secure
- Secure the Top to the frame with the velcro straps around the edges.
- Place the weights on each leg or stake down each leg.
- Attach side walls if you would like them.
If you want to stop water from pooling in your tent, you rent pool noodles to keep the tension on the top.
What can I use a pop-up tent for?
You can use a Pop-up tent to cover a 60″ round table for 8 people. It will give you a lovely shade and protect you from a light drizzle of rain. This would be perfect in a backyard or in a large field.
In the picture on the left you have:
- 60″ Round Table
- 8 Chairs – I recommend the Crossbacked Chairs
- 120 Round tablecloth – Luxury Linen is beautiful
