While planning an event can offer great pleasure the uncertainty of the next few months may make it more difficult.  A number of questions arise:

  • Do you book and pay a deposit to ensure you have the supplies you need to host an event?
  • Or do you take your chances and hope for the best?
  • If you book and pay a deposit, do you risk losing it?
  • If you take your chances, will there be supplies when you need them?

Higgins Event Rentals recognizes that the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic has created unprecedented uncertainty levels when hosting an event. Our business has not been immune to these challenges. Along with our customers, we have certainly felt the devastating impact of the Pandemic throughout the past months. Along with most, we are eagerly looking forward to putting COVID-19 in the past and planning for a future that will more closely resemble what we used to consider normal.

As we work with our clients to plan for the upcoming 2021 season, we know that the current environment has far more uncertainty than usual. In this uncertain environment, customers want the peace of mind of having the necessary equipment reserved for their planned event. At the same time, they are hesitant to commit the non-refundable deposit amounts required by most suppliers. To help address this situation while accommodating the difficulties both planners and customers face in the current business climate, we have adopted the following policy. The policy will be in effect only for this calendar year.
