What we have done to Pivot
We have been pivoting like mad. In May our Online Green House was a big success. If you ordered flowers from us, we would love to see pictures. If you post pictures on social media tag us and we will share @HigginsEvents.
Good News, Events are returning!
The past few weeks have seen a definite up tick in event rentals. Items for outdoor events are very popular. Our Whitewashed Harvest Tables with Umbrellas are very popular. They provide a perfect combination of practicality and decor. One of our guests used two 8′ x 30″ tables side by side with a space in between to create a socially distanced party on their back deck. With the cross backed chairs it looks lovely
Renting Tents in Toronto is popular
Tent Rentals have also been very popular. If you are planning a tented event this fall, it would be wise to book it soon. Many tents are being booked for long term rentals for schools and business so the supply is becoming limited.
Options for Buffets
With buffets still on the no go list, we have been looking for ways to serve people quickly. While disposables are always an option, we have been looking for a more environmentally friendly way. With a little research we have found a supplier of Tiffin Boxes. They are two or three compartment stacking stainless steel units that are 14 cm (5.5 inches) in diameter. For fast service, you could put a cold item in the bottom container. A Room temperature one in the middle and a hot dish on top. For service you would use a cart to distribute. Your servers would then put one Tiffin Box in front of each guest. Tiffin Boxes rent for $8 each. We will have 50 in stock by the end of next week.
An Amazing New Product for an Outdoor Event
We have been seeing that outdoor events will continue to be a big trend into the fall. We have been thinking about ways we can support your events in the fall out doors. We have found a really amazing wood fired fire pit and cooking device called the Kota Grill. We are in talks to start distributing the grill. If all goes well, we will have one to rent in early October. Heaters for will be needed soon…
Our Pyramid Patio heaters are available now. They are sure to be booked as soon as the weather turns cooler. While it is hard to suggest heaters to people in this heat we have been having lately, it is a good idea to get them thinking about cooler temperatures now.
